Photovoltaic Parks

Environmental & Technical Studies

Our team is actively engaged in the preparation and support of environmental and technical studies for photovoltaic parks, covering the full range of requirements set out by the current Greek legislation governing Renewable Energy projects.

With extensive experience in the design and permitting maturity of RES projects, we approach each photovoltaic development holistically, from the stage of initial site investigation and spatial planning through environmental approval, construction, operation, and final site restoration.

Our consulting philosophy is based on the integrated assessment of environmental, geological, spatial, and technical parameters, with the objective of ensuring regulatory and environmental security, minimizing permitting risk, and enabling the timely transition from the study phase to project implementation.

Environmental Permitting of Photovoltaic Parks

We undertake the preparation, documentation, and full technical support of environmental permitting dossiers for photovoltaic projects, in accordance with the applicable environmental licensing framework and the RES project classification (Group 10):

  • Environmental Impact Studies (EIS) for Category A1 and A2 projects

  • Compliance with Standard Environmental Commitments (SEC) for Category B projects

  • Amendments and renewals of Environmental Terms Approval Decisions (ETAD)

  • Management and monitoring of permitting files through the Electronic Environmental Registry (EER)

  • Technical support and substantiated responses during the public consultation process

All dossiers are prepared with particular emphasis on clarity, completeness, and spatial documentation, ensuring the prompt and uninterrupted approval of environmental terms.

Specialized Environmental & Spatial Studies

Depending on the location, installed capacity, and specific characteristics of each project, we prepare specialized studies that often constitute a decisive factor for successful permitting:

  • Appropriate Assessment / Ecological Evaluation for projects within or near Natura 2000 sites

  • Stormwater management and erosion control studies

  • Hydrological and hydrogeological assessments

  • Landscape and visual impact studies

  • Construction and Operation Environmental Management Plans (CEMP / OEMP)

  • Decommissioning and final site restoration plans

These studies are seamlessly integrated into the environmental permitting dossier and are tailored to the actual conditions of the project site.

Geological – Geotechnical & Technical Project Studies

Our team possesses a strong background in geology and civil engineering works, enabling the reliable assessment of ground conditions and the rational design of technical solutions:

  • Geological and geotechnical site assessments

  • Foundation design studies for photovoltaic systems

  • Earthworks and site grading studies

  • Access road and internal circulation design studies

  • Landscaping, soil stabilization, and restoration studies

Particular emphasis is placed on ensuring full compatibility between the proposed technical solutions and the approved environmental terms.

Health & Safety – Construction Site Documentation

For the safe and compliant implementation of projects, we prepare comprehensive Health and Safety study packages in accordance with the applicable regulatory framework:

  • Health and Safety Plan (HSP)

  • Health and Safety File (HSF)

  • Occupational risk assessment and preventive measures for construction sites

Integrated Consulting Approach

The experience and expertise of our team allow for the effective management of complex photovoltaic projects with technical accuracy, regulatory adequacy, and full compliance with the applicable legal framework, ensuring a smooth transition from design to construction and operation.
